Some YouTube Videos That I've Loved This Week

 Slow down, right down.

Make yourself a coffee or top up that teacup, maybe grab a biscuit or an extra slice of toast, and then sit and relax with just a few of the YouTubers that have entertained me this week.

I hope you enjoy. xx

Farmhouse on Boone is currently one of my favourite YouTube channels, she has such a nice calm way about her while she is getting on with the day to day baking and homemaking.  Her beautiful home is very easy on the eye too.

I don't even knit but I love watching Rationbook Rebecca and her lovely way with words.  Her showing us the latest books that she's added to her collection was just the icing on a lovely relaxing cake.

Frugal Daddy sure knows the way to Frugal Mommy's heart.
What a brilliant score from the dumpster, and how sad that all those seeds nearly ended up in landfill.

And finally ... a couple I used to watch a lot of in the past, Kirsten and Joerg.  Wow, their channel has grown enormously in the past couple of years.  They holiday and tour beautiful places all over the UK and take us the viewers along with them.

And you know me, I love a good cottage.

I hope you are having a good weekend, and that on this, the first weekend of September we all get some good weather.

Sue xx

  1. Love the videos - much better than a video of someone spreading ridiculous lies about the Hawaii fires!

    1. I know who you mean. ☹️ Some people believe everything they hear ... from any dubious and idiotic sources.

I'm glad you enjoyed these less controversial videos.

    2. Exactly and then they go and say how they are the ones with the open mind and people who do not believe the garbage are just sheeple! Madness!

    3. Just to let you know, Kathy Harber is an imposter. They have stolen the name from the real Kathy, someone I know. So my trolls rear their ugly heads on other blogs now. Sue, I wondered why you have been posting comments on my blog, appearing to be pleasant and nice. Now I know you are two faced. Such a disappointment.

    4. I don't really mind who Cathy Harber is, what she says here is correct, and as I left a comment on your blog post speaking my mind when you were spouting the views of a political shit-stirrer I do not understand how you could call me two-faced. One thing I always do is speak my truth.

And another thing I do is pubish comments and reply to them ... not censor my readers for daring to have differing opinions to my own.

    5. Thank you. Now I know where I stand with you.

    6. And I know exactly where I stand with you. I actually thought we were blogging friends, but friends do not call each other 'two-faced' when that is far from the truth.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt when you tried to isolate a good blogging friend and sided with someone who had caused her genuine and provable pain in the past, and have recently kept quiet and not commented on posts where you have expressed shocking and at times downright laughable ideas Choosing instead to only comment on posts that were topics on which we had something in common. I will no longer be reading anything you write.

  3. Watched Frugal Daddy-what a great saving from landfill. Slightly horrified that he didn’t have gloves on but he certainly knows how to spot good stuff. Catriona

    1. He occasionally wears gloves, but they've both said they prefer to dive without them. They carry water and anti-bac in the car for afterwards.

  4. Some of these are a great aid to relaxation. Because I sometimes make soap I've watched a lot of soapmaking on YouTube - Sarah on tellervo soap does amazingly relaxing videos, even if you're not a soap maker I recommend them :-)

    1. Thanks I'll look out for that. 🙂 I used to make and sell soap, both in my second shop and then at Farmer's Markets.

  6. What an absolute wicked thing to do, throwing seeds away like that. The store could have simply given them away. Shame on them and good for frugal Daddy for rescuing them. I found Rationbook Rebecca through your blog and I wait eagerly for her every post, she is such a smashing girl. Thank you.

    1. It's always nice to find a new channel to watch isn't it. I love to have a bit of a binge watch when I do, just to see what I've been missing. 🙂

  8. I am on holiday right now, though we don't fly out until Tuesday. Once home I will check out those sites.

Sue always speak your truth. There are too many that are afraid to do so.

    God bless.

    1. If you stick to the truth there's nothing to get caught out about, makes life so much more simple.
