I couldn't resist sharing this, I feel it sums up our growing band of long-time bloggers so well.
We all have days when we ramble, some days when we ask for help or days when we offer help to others. We all have fun days and down days, and luckily ... and happily ... we all have them at different times to each other. And because of that we can take it in turns to cheer each other up, sympathise when needed, offer moral support, wise words or handy tips. And sometimes just generally be there and be known to be there.
And of course it's best for us and our readers, if we're not all nuts on the same day. 😊
Sue xx
This is so very true :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! As the good book says "keep on encouraging one another, just as you're doing now". With the surname Almond, I am probably nuts quite a lot of the time. I love the Fair Isle jumpers on those little girls.
ReplyDeleteMy thought also Angela…..the softer muted colours of the north. Would be a strange world we’d live in if we all were nuts on the same day!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe we are all nuts, all of the time, it is just that on some days it does not show so much 🤪
ReplyDeleteWe all have our ups and downs. After the week I've had, thank heavens for that.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely...and so very true. When I feel like I'm going nuts about life I check out my blogging buddies for new posts to cheer me up :)
ReplyDeleteLove the postcard and agree with the sentiment! Catriona
ReplyDeleteAnd it’s always good to have that friend who says “Naw, let’s not go cliff diving and have a cup of tea instead.”

Lovely and it's always good not to take ourselves too seriously x
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
Aw, I love that so much. Being nuts together would be fun, don't you think? xx
ReplyDeleteLOL. Should we begin to schedule 'going nuts'? Is tomorrow taken?
ReplyDeleteEldest daughter - who started me blogging 10 years ago said "do people still read blogs" - Yes- I said - thank goodness, or we'd all be talking to ourselves which is a sure sign of going nuts!
ReplyDeleteSmashing post Sue. x
ReplyDeleteAs a blog reader, I am so thankful to all of you bloggers who take the time to communicate with me. Reading your posts is my daily retirement hobby! Keeps me connected and thinking and laughing and feeling like I have penpals around the world! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWell said Sue x
ReplyDeleteI am not a blogger ( have thought it would be fun but no idea how to start and not sure that I am interesting enough ) but I do qualify by being nuts on a regular basis and sometimes I am at my best when nuts :)
ReplyDeleteI love that! x
ReplyDeleteOh but the nuts days are often the best!! Karen S
ReplyDeleteVery cute.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thanks for all the brilliant comments folks, you do make me smile. I've not been answering as I have just gotten back from a long weekend away visiting family. But I LOVED reading all your comments. xx
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading about people's different lifestyles. It keeps me connected to the wider world, especially on those frequent days when I see no one but my husband all day.
