We've had an allotment for 2 1/2 years now,so still learning. We've managed a few tiny caulis both years, very proud of them, beautiful tight white heads and delicious but took up too much space for too long so sadly won't be trying anymore. I would go again if I got another plot or maybe bought a Welsh smallholding xx
And it will be delicious covered in cheese sauce. I like them best when they are small, they are so sweet.

ReplyDeleteI love cauliflower but they take up too much room in a household garden. So were you in the south in 2011?
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Oxfordshire then in our first rented farm 🙂. With 50 chickens and rare breed pigs 🐖🐓🐔🐥
DeleteWow, was it hard work?
DeleteIt was, and all documented on the blog Our New Life in the Country, sorry I thought you used to read it.
DeleteYou had me baffled for a minute. Yes we did eat it, back in 2011 😄
