22nd June






And this shows that my baby Cauliflower was way ahead of the veggie year, even for southern England.

  2. We've had an allotment for 2 1/2 years now,so still learning. We've managed a few tiny caulis both years, very proud of them, beautiful tight white heads and delicious but took up too much space for too long so sadly won't be trying anymore. I would go again if I got another plot or maybe bought a Welsh smallholding xx

  3. I love cauliflower but they take up too much room in a household garden. So were you in the south in 2011?

    1. We lived in Oxfordshire then in our first rented farm 🙂. With 50 chickens and rare breed pigs 🐖🐓🐔🐥
