  1. Mavis is a cutie, and I like the quote about being an old woman.

  4. Mavis's face says it all, sheer joy and happiness, she has a good life with you after having been through so much, bless her.
I am not going to be a sweet old lady who sits in a recliner chair all day dressed in frumpy clothes, I like to think I will be like the woman in the meme. x

    1. Just take it steady, one bold 'out of character' thing a week ... you'll soon get the habit ;-)

  7. Your meme will describe me to a t, I am going to be that woman. One of my favourite poems is Warning by Jenny Joseph, that will be me as well. Your Mavis looks so happy there, a friend of mine has a dog like Mavis and she is called Fudge. Helen S.

    1. Oh yes ... I will be wearing purple too ;-)

Fudge is a GOOD name for a dog.

  8. I love the fact that as you get older you become less bothered about things and crack on with what matters. There really isn't time to waste!
