Goodness, number three is definitely for me , one lesson learned is that I have eaten far too many chips and cake over the years and the disappointment is that I shouldn't anymore :)
I have a friend who says "some things are just here for a season. Learn to love and appreciate them, then acknowledge their season has passed". This is so true - and applies to so much more than strawberrie, snowflakes and schooldays...
Hi, I’ve been reading your blog for some time and have especially enjoyed and taken trips from your rationing posts. How can I get access to the new one? I’m already retired, but with ever rising prices here in the U.S. I need all the inspiration and ideas I can get. Thank you. Lynn Ewing
Hi Sue I'd love to follow your new blog as eating the more natural as in little processed way is something im interested in too and im interested in how people survived on rations infact im currently reading an ebook called fighting fit the wartime battle for Britain's health by laura dawes available on google play books. I also love the idea of cutting our food bill so we can save some money. Unfortunately your link says i havent been invited to read your new blog. Im just wondering is it not up and running yet or are you only inviting certain people to read it. Thank you
Thank you Sue. I didnt see the post about tinkering before opening it. I only managed a quick glance through not a proper catch up yet. Lifes busy yes.
So lovely and so well chosen! 😁

ReplyDeleteIt's a good book, I bought it last time I lived on rations. I need to have a reread of a lot of my books ... I'll be calling it 'research'. 😀
DeleteAs talked about the other day, it will be open for everyone once I've finished tinkering with the layout etc.
