  1. I'm too senitive and need to toughen up more, something which I am working on, I need to be stronger and be more like Brooke and not put up with any bullshit.
Thankyou for your last post Sue, it means a lot to me, I will keep in touch and keep and let you know when I write again (will be soon). x

    2. In a way it's sad that WE have to toughen up, other people should 'gently-fy' themselves!! I'm glad you are coming back, do it on your own terms and only when you are ready. And remember you have a lot of friends here that have your back.

  2. I grew up next door to my feisty British grandmother and her response to any concerns for others opinions was "they don't pay my rent !! " ......so don't concern yourself unless you value and respect that person.

  4. I am a sensitive soul and my venting place is my blog. I don't know if I want to toughen up too much, cause then would I actually be me.

    God bless.

    3. Don't worry you are not the only one having technical problems with Blogger at the moment. You should have seen the spacing issues with my last Challenging Myself post. Hopefully I've sorted it out now 🤣🤣

  6. I wonder if being more relaxed about being ourselves is a consequence of getting older. I am certainly more happy with myself than I was in my 40s or 50s when I was always striving to progress at work, have fewer lines on my skin, be thinner etc etc. And I definitely feel more comfortable with the fact that if people don't like me or approve of me then that is their problem, not mine.

    1. I think you're right. Hopefully people accept us, the newer, relaxed, wilder, stroppier us ... if not it's definitely their problem not ours.

  7. So beautifully written, I think once we learn to accept our true selves others might follow suit,,
