Just Snippets of Home

Sunny kitchen window sill.

Love.

Lazy morning snoozing.

Looking out to the Carneddau Mountains.

Ginger's selection of beds.
The little grey dog bed that usually lives in Alan's car is the current favourite.

Seasonings and phone charging shelf.

  5. Love the view of the mountains. I live in Yorkshire ( which is beautiful of course!) but I'm from Llandrillo-yn-Rhos originally and I really miss the Welsh mountains.

  8. Our last property had views over Dartmoor, it's the one thing I miss. I love my little home but haven't got a lovely view now, watching the lambs every year was a joy, especially when they became teenagers and hung around in gangs in the fields having fun then all running back to their mums' for food then back up to mischief taking off of the ground with all four feet at once, joyful !!!

    1. They can also be a pest, getting their heads stuck in the fences all the time. Our two have been pretty good as they mostly hang out with their mums, but the ones in the field at the back of us constantly need freeing 🤣🤣

  10. Your house looks so homely, I can imagine sitting and looking at the Carneddau Mountains. Where I lived before I could look over at a mountain. I miss that, I can not see a mountain now as I am on the top of Dartmoor. Helen S.

  12. It all looks so cosy and the views wonderful but I wonder what the machine with the steam/smoke that is outside your window is.

  13. What is it with cats? Why do they need so many beds, but they do! Our has so many and generally has a new favourite every month or so :)

    1. Just when we get used to him in one place he moves on. Since writing this post it's changed yet again, now his favourite snoozing spot is on the carpet, leaning against the skirting board between the two living room doors. Not exactly an out of the way spot for him to choose ... he's a strange cat, but then again they all have their little foibles don't that ;-)
