To the left of me as I type 💖
They melt my heart these two girls, keeping me company while Alan is away working. Punctuating my days with feed time and snoring sessions. Luckily as they are both now slightly elderly ladies they are happy to miss a day of walks, the garden is a good place to let off a bit of steam and do what doggies need to do. But with the cold and wet weather they are always eager to come back in, have a drink and then settle down while Mum gets on with what ever Mum needs to do ... and if that is just from the comfort of the sofa then they are even happier.
Something really weird happened before. I was peeling an 'easy peeler' of some description that must have been in the fridge for a couple of months ... yes the Smeg is the greatest for keeping food fresher far longer than any other fridge I have ever owned ... still I half expected it to be dry and unappetising after so long but it was delicious, anyway as I was peeling the skin off all in one piece, something that makes me childishly happy, I remembered one of the caravans back on the caravan park that had a little 'Orange Man' in their garden and wondered if one day I should try and take my peel off in this fashion.
Sorry I have been so AWOL and not kept up with your lovely Advent posts.
ReplyDeleteYour photo of the girls is absolutely gorgeous - you are absolutely right, a picture of deeply relaxed pups like that just melts the heart. xxx
Gosh, don't worry about it looking at your blog you've been pretty busy with Christmas preparations and gorgeous crafts ... and making and then losing titchy tiny coat hangers ;-)
DeleteAlways nice to see your girls, they look so content. That must make you happy, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice when they are so relaxed ... the snoring can get quite loud at times from Suky though and I guiltily give her a bit of a poke. But I do have to be careful because sometimes that makes her fart!!
DeleteI keep finding myself peering past your advent products everyday to see what the books are on your shelves!
ReplyDeleteHaha ... you've been quite lucky today and yesterday then haven't you. What with the header, yesterday's Nigel Slater bookshelf and then todays bedroom bookcase shelf there's quite a few for you to try to look at.
DeleteIf you do a book post again at some time in the near future I'll do one too and we can compare notes. It'll give me an excuse to get Alan to bring what I think is the last box of books over from his spare room. :-)
Oh, bless them - so peaceful and content.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a minute mascara. I'd find it hard to handle, I think.
xx
It's the smallest one I've ever seen, it will be great for travelling with ... if I can even find it when I arrive at a destination ;-)
DeleteThat's weird about the orange man post. It's like "someone" is listening in on our thoughts! (cue creepy music!) :)
ReplyDeleteHaha ... it was an update on a meme I shared on Facebook last year, or the year before. But I have noticed recently some really weird coincidences happening on a very regular basis. Big Brother definintely IS watching us!!
DeleteOh, those girls of yours are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI never thought of storing orange in the fridge - and me, a qualified chef! We don't have a lovely Smeg but I might give it a try anyway. xxx
They ae sweet aren't they, even sweeter when slumbering quietly and not queueing up to beg for food ... Alan has gotten them into bad habits recently!!
DeleteCute orange man! And a very weird Facebook communication 🤔 Even cuter doggy photo, the girls look so peaceful together 🙂
ReplyDeleteEvery day you get a Facebook Memories box you can click onto that brings up the things you shared on your page on that particular day all through the years you have been on Facebook. As a Facebook user since the noughties I get a lot. It can be very interesting.
DeleteGorgeous photo of the girls, melts your heart seeing them so peaceful♥ Loving your advent posts:)
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet aren't they. Thank you, I'm really enjoying posting every day ... it's a habit I should try to keep up in the New Year.
