My latest little acquisition, another little tree ... even smaller than my fake one and beautiful in its realness. I decided to treat myself when I fell in love with it's hat, scarf and little strung mittens, I loved it so much that I sent one to my Mum too.
I got it from a company called Bloom and Wild and it's a letterbox tree. I had great fun setting it all up and fluffing it back into tree shape, following the instructions stage by stage. It can go into a slightly larger pot and live outdoors as soon as it has done it's Christmas duty.
Day 22 and I have a beautifully scented candle, it really is a lovely scent.

That little tree is beautiful. I think Bloom & Wild are one of the nicest home delivery companies for flowers.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to get such super quick delivery at this time of year. I ordered one day and it arrived the next. 😃
DeleteI sent a B&W tree to my cousin last Christmas. They are a very reliable company.
ReplyDeleteYep, I highly recommend them too. 😀
DeleteVery pretty little tree. You sound happy. which is also lovely.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm slowly surfacing from a very dark place. It's been a tough couple of months.
DeleteHow unusual, love the decorations.
ReplyDeleteIt's called 'The Winter Walks' tree, hence it wearing it's hat, scarf and gloves. 😄🎄
DeleteI've really enjoyed your daily posts this month. It was fun seeing what your advent calendars would surprise you with each day. I'm glad you are recovering - all be it slowly. I want to wish you a Merry Christmas from this side of the pond and I'm looking forward to your new challenge in the new year. Jo in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteThere's a couple more days to go yet 😃. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas too 🎄💖🎄
DeleteThat tree is so sweet! Does it have that great evergreen scent? Will you keep it alive and use it each year? Or decorate it out in the garden? Such a great purchase!
ReplyDeleteOnly a faint scent. Oh yes I will try my hardest to keep it alive. Hopefully it can come back indoors next year for a week or two, it would be a bit lost decorated in the garden, it's only a foot tall 😃🎄🎄
DeleteI saw that little tree on Bloom and Wild's website and was very tempted. It's gorgeous. Maybe next year I will be in a position to buy one 😁
ReplyDeleteI've been very generous with myself this Christmas, I just had to have it. I hope next year you are, perhaps while you are on this little lucky streak you should splash out on a Christmas lottery ticket. 😀
DeleteSue, I think you are right...I've been out this morning and bought a lucky dip on the lottery! I'll let you know if I win ;)
DeleteI'll be your new best friend if you win ;-)
DeleteHi Sue, I've been reading your blogs for around 18 months and I just want to say how much I enjoy them, I'm looking at around 25 years until retirement and I feel like I'm getting so much advice as well as hints and tips from your posts that when (if) we do make it, we will be able to live a comfortable life by making preparations early enough.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Christmas, and thank you for always giving me a few minutes of pleasure each day during December.
What a lovely comment, thank you. I hope in a small way I can help you pick up good habits. Once they become second nature it makes for a simple but cheap and happy life ... and makes even splurging on miniature Christmas trees possible 😄🎄
DeleteI think you might enjoy my no spend year next year ... almost as much as me.
