Blogmas - Advent Day 6

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

My 'mantlepiece' decorated for the festive season and set off beautifully with the gorgeous flowers that Alan bought me for our anniversary.  Fourteen years married, seventeen together and he's finally got me some that I love to bits. 💖

Poor man he has tried hard over the years, but I'm just not into lurid purple tulips or alien looking seed pods with gold sprayed wheat!!  I always know exactly which ones to buy him ... the ones I wouldn't touch with a bargepole and that contain every colour under the sun ... a bit like his house actually 😄😆

Todays Advent calendar offerings are some lovely 'deer' socks and a bottle of perfume.  I might try a little of it, but I've been allergic to perfumes since I was 16 so I'm not hopeful.  I can always spray it on a cushion or something, it does smell nice.

  3. Looking good - both mantel and socks. The mantelpiece is my favourite spot to decorate.🎄
